REDCAT presents the Los Angeles premiere of Infinitely Yours by animator, designer and performer Miwa Matreyek for the debut of her latest work. Running for three performances from Thursday, January 16 through Saturday, January 18, 2020, the award-winning interdisciplinary creator brings her nightmarish vision of climate grief to Los Angeles audiences before heading to Park City, Utah for the works’ world premiere during Sundance Film Festival’s New Frontier program. Infinitely Yours will then embark on a North American tour throughout June. All music for Infinitely Yours was composed, recorded and performed by Morgan Sorne who will join Matreyek for the REDCAT show as live musical accompaniment.

Devolver Digital Films is proud to announce the digital VOD release of the surreal horror-dark comedy, Motivational Growth, on September 30, 2014. Directed and written by Don Thacker, the psycho-horror-fantasy feature film follows a man who is slowly driven insane by the talking mold in his bathroom, voiced by the legendary cult star Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator, Star Trek). The film screened at over 30 festivals and racked up an impressive 27 awards. September 30th will see the worldwide digital VOD release (via Devolver in most countries and Indiecan Entertainment in Canada). The Canadian Blu-ray and DVD release will also be on September 30th via Indiecan. The U.S. DVD release will happen the following week, on October 7, 2014 (via Parade Deck Films). Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz, the performance space at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, is pleased to present Résolument Animés, a trip into the world of French animation on Thursday, January 16, 2014. Résolument Animés (Resolutely Animated) showcases a collection of animated shorts that highlight the unbridled creativity of France’s new generation of animation directors. The program is intended for an adult audience, though appropriate for ages 15 and up. Cheese and wine will be served during the intermission between the two parts of the program (roughly 45 minutes each). Bootleg Theater announces the world premiere of Death of a Salesgirl, an absurdist tragicomedy with integrated media, about one woman’s struggle to free herself from her past, opening in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 13, 2012 and running through Saturday, November 17, 2012. Written by Patricia Scanlon, Death of a Salesgirl is a dark and humorous parable of a salesgirl breaking in new territory. This intensely creative interdisciplinary performance piece, directed by Matthew McCray, incorporates video projections, animation and a uniquely crafted set by the award-winning Francois-Pierre Couture. Death of a Salesgirl stars Patricia Scanlon and Paul Dillon.
