The performance space at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz, is pleased to present rock band Vadel on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 7:30pm. Featuring 20 year-old multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Adam Vadel, who live in Paris, the band will make its US debut fresh off of opening dates for Santana in Europe this past summer. With his band, composed of David Junior Assolo (bass), Virgile Carlsson (drums), and Jaykeyboards (keyboards), Vadel delivers powerful and straight forward rock ‘n roll in the tradition of T. Rex, David Bowie, and the Kinks, flavored with Beatlesque pop, Zeppelin heaviness, and Prince-worthy funkiness.More info...

The performance space at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz, is pleased to open the 13th season of its public performing arts series on Friday, September 27, 2013 with Laila Biali, the award-winning Canadian jazz pianist, vocalist and songwriter. Biali is known for taking the best of pop, rock, classical and soul, and informing it with her knowledge of jazz as she weaves together her exquisite musical arrangements. The event is the Los Angeles stop of Biali’s North American Tour. This will also be Biali’s Los Angeles debut as a solo performer.
