Hollywood Horrorfest (HHF) kicks off on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 3:30pm with screenings of competition films and a red carpet ceremony for The Howling at 7:30pm. At 11:00pm, the festival invites horror fans to ANOTHER red carpet event… the West Coast premiere of Afflicted. Fresh from its multi-award winning success at Fantastic Fest, the film is set to open on April 4th (in theaters and on VOD). Its L.A. debut with feature the writer/director/acting team of Derek Lee and Clif Prowse in attendance. For two days in March, Hollywood will both celebrate the past and embrace the future of indie horror filmmaking at the New Beverly Cinema with Hollywood Horrorfest (HHF). Presented by filmmaker and events organizer Miles Flanagan, the inaugural event will take place at the New Beverly Cinema on Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29, 2014 and include competition screenings, panels, raffles, and more. Most of the festival will be free, except for the opening and closing night events, which will include red carpet screenings of The Howling and Return of the Living Dead, respectively.
